Dongfeng Heavy Industries Sdn Bhd has launched in Malaysia (Petaling Jaya), appointed official distributor and headquartered in Jalan Meru, Klang. It signed a purchase agreement for 200 Dongfeng truck units and introduced EURO V–compliant prime movers, tippers and cement mixers (4×2, 6×4, 8×4). Trucks will be imported as CKD and assembled locally by Gemilang Coachwork under a strategic partnership. The company, led by Executive Director Quek Wang, plans a nationwide aftersales network with workshops and mobile rescue services to ensure reliability and uptime for transport, haulage and construction operators, positioning itself as a long‑term player in Malaysia’s heavy‑duty truck market.
